Consultation
A full discussion of your symptoms and history, followed by an examination where appropriate. You are welcome to bring a relative or friend, and to bring any previous results or letters.
Referral from your GP is helpful and is usually required by insurers, but self-funding patients may book directly. -

Where investigations are needed, such as blood or urine tests, ultrasound, CT or MRI, flow studies or a flexible cystoscopy, these are arranged promptly at the hospital of your choice and the results are explained to you in plain terms.
Rapid-access diagnostic pathways are available for suspected urological cancers. -

Treatment and follow-up
Options are set out with their benefits and risks, from reassurance and medication to minimally invasive and laser surgery. Follow-up is planned around your recovery, and your GP is kept informed throughout.
Many procedures are performed as day cases, so you can return home the same day.
